Horizontal mixers are one of the common types. It mainly through the horizontal placement of the mixing shaft rotation to drive the material mixing. Vertical disc mixer has a unique way of working. Its mixing shaft is vertically installed, and in the disc-shaped mixing chamber, multiple mixing blades are distributed at different heights. When working, the stirring shaft drives the blade to rotate at a high speed, and the material is thrown to the inner wall of the disk under the action of centrifugal force, and falls under the action of gravity, forming a circulating material flow up and down. At the same time, due to the different positions of the blades at different heights, the material will constantly change the direction of movement during the rise and fall process to achieve a full range of mixing. This structure can make the material reach a very high uniformity in a short time, and is often used in the fine mixing process of organic fertilizer, which requires high mixing accuracy.
The double-shaft mixer uses two parallel and synchronously rotating stirring shafts. The blades on the two axes are arranged in different ways and angles. When the stirring shaft rotates, the material is subjected to shear force and pushing tension from two directions. This makes the material form a complex flow trajectory in the mixing chamber, which can not only quickly break the agglomeration phenomenon between the materials, but also make the raw materials of different properties quickly and evenly mixed, which greatly improves the mixing efficiency, and plays an important role in the fertilizer production process that requires rapid mixing of a variety of raw materials.
