Location selection: The composting of organic manure should be selected in a ventilated and sunny place with high terrain, close to the orchard and far away from residential areas.
Adjustment of the carbon-nitrogen ratio of the pile: Generally, the carbon-nitrogen ratio of animal manure is relatively low. A certain amount of straw, sawn wood, etc. can be appropriately added during the fermentation process to increase the carbon-nitrogen ratio.
Moisture adjustment: The moisture content of the pile should be kept at a level where water droplets can be squeezed out when held tightly by hand, and the moisture content should not be too high.
Composting pile: Before composting, 15 cm thick wet soil can be spread on the bottom. When making the pile, it should not be too small or too short. Too small will affect the fermentation. The fermentation effect of the pile with a height of 1.5 meters to 2 meters, a width of 2 meters, and a length of 2 to 4 meters is better. After completion, the fertilizer pile is sealed with soil or plastic cloth to ensure the fermentation temperature.

Water temperature monitoring; The moisture content of the fermented material should be controlled at around 65%. Too high or too low is not conducive to fermentation. Too little water will cause slow fermentation; too much water will lead to poor ventilation, slow temperature rise, and odor. When the temperature in the pile reaches above 75°C, the organic fertilizer compost turning machine should be used to turn the pile continuously for 5 times. Each time the compost is turned, an appropriate amount of enzyme strains should be added to cultivate some beneficial bacteria.
Fermentation time: The fermentation can be completed within a week. The material is dark brown and the temperature begins to drop to room temperature, indicating that the fermentation is complete and fully decomposed. After the organic manure is decomposed, it can be applied as a base fertilizer in autumn after simple turning and drying. If you want granular organic fertilizer, you can choose an
organic fertilizer production line with a granulator.
Precautions: Various organic acids produced during the fermentation process are not conducive to the growth of microorganisms. Therefore, a small amount of lime, wood ash or calcareous soil can be added to maintain a neutral or alkaline pH environment.
During the compost fermentation period, the
organic fertilizer compost turning machine can replace manual labor to stir the organic raw materials evenly. The pretreated organic raw materials will enter the next step of the organic fertilizer production line, and eventually become granular organic fertilizer after granulation, drying and other steps.
