Roller press granulator plays an important role in fertilizer manufacturing through extrusion granulation. The work of roller press granulator mainly includes two parts: one is extrusion, the other is granulation.
Extrusion: Dry materials become cake-like under the twin-roll extrusion of the roller press granulator. At this time, the density of the materials is very high, and the intermolecular voids are very small. It is not easy for the dry materials to enter the air and get damp in the later storage of the finished products. In this process, the principle of intermolecular force in physics is also used to combine extruded molecules freely into molecules with appropriate spatial density.
Granulation: The material which is pressed into a cake shape is broken down by the double roller press granulator and is divided into numerous small particles to achieve the purpose of granulation.
Roller skin is the main component of the roll granulation and is the key to the particle forming process in the fertilizer manufacturing process. In the actual granulation process, for the double roller press granulator, whether using new or old roll covers, there are demoulding problems. If the stripping is not good, the roll will stick to the material and affect the particle forming, such as extruding a piece of cake shape, and affecting the subsequent granulator crushing and screening material, material can not be discharged from the crushing chamber, resulting in increased resistance of the wolf tooth roll, affecting the life of the whole machine. Method of demoulding: Sawdust and a small amount of yellow sand can be continuously extruded between rollers until the surface of rollers is smooth and shiny, so that each time the material is used, it can be demoulded smoothly to form high-quality finished particles.
