Yanling County, Hunan Province, has a well-developed fruit and vegetable seedling and medicinal herb cultivation industry, resulting in a huge demand for lightweight, breathable, and sterile high-quality seedling substrates. To address the problems of low efficiency, uneven proportions, and high impurity content in traditional manual soil mixing, local agricultural enterprises have introduced our company's complete seedling substrate production line. On August 28, 2025, the entire machine was assembled, pipelines were connected, electrical control was debugged, and no-load testing was completed.

This seedling substrate production line is a customized, multi-functional configuration, encompassing screening, crushing, precise batching, dual-shaft mixing, quantitative conveying, and automatic packaging. The equipment is compatible with various substrate raw materials such as peat moss, coconut coir, perlite, vermiculite, and well-rotted organic fertilizer, supporting precise multi-component ratios with a batching accuracy error of ≤±0.5%. The equipment is equipped with a large drum screening device, effectively removing stones, coarse fibers, and clumps. The screening mesh can be adjusted as needed, ensuring the substrate is fine, loose, and meets aeration standards.
The production line adopts a horizontal, twin-shaft, multi-layer mixing structure, ensuring high mixing uniformity and preventing stratification of materials of varying weights. It can produce 3-5 cubic meters of finished seedling substrate per hour, meeting the large-scale production needs of small and medium-sized seedling bases. Designed for the humid and rainy climate of southern Hunan, the equipment frame is treated with rust and corrosion prevention, and the hoppers and conveying equipment are equipped with moisture-proof and condensation-proof structures to prevent the substrate from becoming damp and clumping. The entire set of equipment features a modular design, making installation convenient and compact, requiring no special civil engineering foundations.

The technical team completes on-site equipment alignment and debugging, proportioning program setting, and operating parameter calibration. Simultaneously, they train operators on material adjustment, equipment cleaning, and daily maintenance. After the equipment is put into operation, the finished substrate consistently meets standards for looseness, water retention, and aeration, and is widely used in the cultivation of fruit, vegetable, flower, and medicinal herb seedlings, increasing production efficiency several times compared to traditional manual methods.
