Yong Peng, Malaysia, has a large-scale oil palm plantation and livestock farming industry, generating a large amount of organic raw materials such as oil palm residue, chicken manure, and cow manure annually. Traditional powdered fertilizers have low added value and are inconvenient to transport. To upgrade their products, the local customer introduced our fully automated roller extrusion granulation production line. On July 29, 2025, the entire machine was positioned, pipelines were connected, and no-load commissioning was completed, officially entering the trial production stage with materials.

The roller granulator installed this time is a dry powder direct granulator model, requiring no drying or binder addition, and is suitable for tropical high-humidity fermentation raw materials. The equipment is equipped with high-strength wear-resistant alloy pressure rollers with adjustable roller gap, capable of stably producing irregular granules of 2-6mm, with a granulation rate of over 85%. The entire production line is equipped with a feeding conveyor, forced mixing device, roller granulator main unit, vibrating screen, and finished product conveying system, supporting continuous automated feeding, granulation, screening, and recycled closed-loop production. Designed to address Malaysia's hot, humid, and rainy climate, the equipment features comprehensive rust and corrosion protection, as well as moisture-proof sealing for the motor, effectively preventing issues such as damp materials sticking to the rollers and equipment rust causing downtime. The production line boasts low energy consumption, low noise, a compact structure, and a small footprint, making it ideal for small to medium-sized organic fertilizer plants and plantations in Southeast Asia. On-site installation is standardized throughout, with a compact and streamlined layout that effectively utilizes the client's existing factory space.
Our overseas technical personnel are stationed on-site to complete equipment alignment, leveling, and pressure parameter adjustments. They also provide local employees with practical training on equipment maintenance, roller gap adjustment, material blockage handling, and daily inspections. After the project is operational, it will stably produce high-quality granular organic fertilizer with high hardness, resistance to moisture, and ease of storage and transportation, comprehensively enhancing the client's product market competitiveness.

This successful installation in Yong Peng highlights the value of advanced fertilizer granules compaction technology for tropical organic fertiliser production. The double roller extrusion granulator, acting as a robust fertilizer compactor and fertilizer compaction machine, applies high mechanical pressure directly to dry or slightly moist powders, eliminating the need for drying or binders — a critical advantage in Malaysia's high‑humidity environment. The entire roller press granulator production line, from feeding to screening, operates in a closed‑loop system, achieving over 85% granulation rate and near‑zero waste. The resulting granules are dense, hard, and moisture‑resistant, significantly improving storage stability and transport convenience compared to powdered fertilisers. Moreover, the compact, energy‑efficient design suits small‑to‑medium‑scale plantations, enabling on‑site conversion of oil palm residues and manure into high‑value granular products. This project not only solves waste management issues but also creates a sustainable revenue stream for the client, demonstrating that well‑engineered compaction technology can turn local agricultural by‑products into premium fertilisers, supporting both circular economy and food security in Southeast Asia.
