Due to long-term use and lack of maintenance,
fertilizer granulators have continuous faults during use. In order to ensure the normal production and the processing quality of pellets, granulators need to accumulate rich experience in dealing with common problems.
First, no raw materials enter the granulation chamber
Causes of failure: 1. The conditioner is blocked or the feed port is arched; 2. The feeder dragon transmission device fails; 3. The feeder dragon is blocked.
Troubleshooting method: 1. Clear the conditioner or feed port; 2. Check the feeder auger transmission device and troubleshoot; 3. Clean the material on the feeder auger.
Second, raw materials enter the granulation chamber but no pellets are pressed out
Causes of failure: 1. The die hole is blocked; 2. The raw material has too much moisture; 3. The gap between the die roller is too large; 4. The feed scraper is seriously worn; 5. The die roller is seriously worn.
Troubleshooting method: 1. Clear the feed in the die hole; 2. Control the moisture in the raw material and steam; 3. Readjust the gap between the die roller; 4. Replace the scraper and die roller.
Third, the pellet mill motor cannot start
Fault causes: 1. There is material accumulation in the pellet mill chamber; 2. There is a problem with the circuit; 3. The travel switch cannot touch the gate or the lever on the door.
Troubleshooting methods: 1. Clear the accumulated material; 2. Check the circuit and eliminate the fault; 3. Check the travel switch.
