A water spray device is installed above the disc to spray it in a mist form. The material flows into the rotating disc continuously from the belt conveyor or other conveying equipment, and is brought to the top as the disc rotates. Then it falls to the bottom along the bottom of the disc. At the same time, due to the addition of mist water, the material gradually forms particles in the process of rotating and falling with the disc. As time goes by, the particles gradually increase. The disc granulator is designed with an angle adjustment mechanism. The user can determine the inclination of the disc according to the required particle size.
Generally, the disc inclination can be adjusted between 35°-50°. The particles that meet the specifications float above the inclined disc. As the disc rotates, the particles are thrown out along the tangent direction of the disc and flow into the feed port of the belt conveyor to be pulled into the next link.
In the practical application of
disc granulator, the factors that affect fertilizer granulation include: the diameter, inclination, side height, rotation speed of the disc, the position of the liquid spraying, and the position of the scraper.
